Nairobi to Amboseli National Park

Your driver-guide will meet you at the airport or your Nairobi hotel and give you a detailed briefing on the itinerary. You’ll then hop into the safari land cruiser at 6:30 am and head south to Amboseli, a four-hour drive. Upon arriving at the park gate around 11:00 am, you’ll enjoy a two-hour game drive on the way to the lodge. Lunch will be served at Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge, followed by another game drive at 3:00 pm, with opportunities to spot buffalos, giraffes, gazelles, impalas, wildebeests, zebras, and more. Amboseli is famous for offering close-up views of large elephant herds. After sunset, you’ll return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Amboseli to Nairobi

At 6:00 am, snacks will be served at the lodge before departing at 6:15 am for an early morning game drive, with a chance to watch the sun rise over Mt. Kilimanjaro. You may spot lions and cheetahs hunting, as well as large herds of elephants making their way to the swamps where they spend their days. Afterward, you’ll return to the lodge for breakfast. Then, you’ll check out and enjoy your final safari en route to the gate before driving back to Nairobi, arriving in the late afternoon. The driver-guide will drop you off at your hotel or the airport.
