Your safari begins with a morning pick-up from your hotel or the airport in Nairobi. Meet your professional safari guide and depart for the world-famous Maasai Mara National Reserve, enjoying scenic views of the Great Rift Valley along the way. Stop briefly at a viewpoint for photography before continuing to the reserve.

Arrive at your mid-range safari lodge in time for lunch and check-in. After some relaxation, head out for your first afternoon game drive, where you'll have the opportunity to spot elephants, giraffes, lions, buffaloes, cheetahs, and other wildlife roaming the vast savannah.

Return to the lodge in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay.

Full-Day Wildebeest Migration Safari

After an early breakfast, depart with packed picnic lunch boxes for a full-day game drive in search of the spectacular Great Wildebeest Migration. Your guide will take you to the Mara River, where, if conditions are favorable during the migration season, you may witness thousands of wildebeest and zebras crossing the crocodile-filled river—one of Africa's most breathtaking wildlife events.

Spend the day exploring different parts of the reserve while searching for the Big Five (lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino) as well as cheetahs, hyenas, hippos, crocodiles, and a variety of bird species.

Enjoy a picnic lunch at a designated scenic spot before continuing your afternoon wildlife viewing.

Return to camp in the late afternoon for dinner and overnight.
