Transfer to Volcanoes National Park

On arrival at Kigali International airport our company representative will pick you up and you start your adventure followed by a scenic drive to Volcanoes National Park. Depending on the time of arrival once in volcanoes, you will check inn and spend the afternoon relaxing. As evening falls, enjoy dinner, preparing for the incredible wildlife encounter that awaits.

Gorilla Tracking

Wake up early, freshen up and have breakfast, then head to the park headquarters for the 7:30 AM gorilla tracking briefing. You will be guided by rangers during the tracking. This activity takes 2–5 hours. Once you reach the gorillas, spend an unforgettable hour observing these gentle giants up close. After the trek, have lunch and you can enjoy other activities like the cultural entertainment, the research center among others. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Golden Monkey Tracking - Kigali

Breakfast, go for a briefing at the park headquarters, and start the search for the golden monkeys, guided by park experts. You will spend an hour with them. Afterward, return to the lodge for lunch. Drive back to Kigali, and if time permits, discover the city’s history with a short tour including the Kigali Genocide Memorial. Drop-off at Kigali International Airport.
