Day 1

Jambo and welcome to Tanzania! Your safari adventure begins as we collect you in Arusha and drive towards the forested slopes of Mount Meru and the beautiful Arusha National Park. The park offers a wonderful mix of mountain scenery, lush forests, open grasslands, and the tranquil Momella Lakes, where you may spot flamingos along the water and black-and-white colobus monkeys moving through the forest canopy.
You will enjoy a relaxing game drive through the park, with opportunities to see giraffes, buffalo, zebras, blue monkeys, and a variety of birdlife. You will pause during the day for a delicious boxed lunch, surrounded by the peaceful scenery of the park.
In the afternoon, you'll continue exploring the forest trails and open plains before returning to Arusha. As the day comes to an end, you arrive at the Gold Crest Hotel, where a comfortable evening and freshly prepared dinner await you.

Day 2
Arusha to Tarangire National Park
Arusha to Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, your journey continues south into Tarangire National Park, renowned for its towering baobabs, open grasslands, and large elephant herds. Following the Tarangire River, you will explore one of Tanzania’s most distinctive wildlife landscapes, where animals gather around the water and beneath the shade of ancient trees. Look out for lions, leopards, elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffalo, and a variety of antelope.
You'll pause at a scenic spot overlooking the river to enjoy a picnic lunch surrounded by the sights and sounds of the African bush. After lunch, you continue your game drive through the park, where birdlife, grazing animals, and changing landscapes keep the experience engaging throughout the afternoon.
As the sun begins to soften over the plains, you'll leave Tarangire behind and drive into the scenic highlands of Karatu. Arrive at Marera Valley Lodge for a relaxing evening, a comfortable stay, and a freshly prepared dinner.

Day 3
Ngorongoro Crater Exploration

You rise early for breakfast before descending approximately 600 metres into the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater, a vast volcanic caldera renowned for its exceptional concentration of wildlife. You'll explore the crater floor in search of zebra, wildebeest, buffalo, elephants, lions, and spotted hyenas. With patience and luck, you may also encounter the endangered black rhino moving across the open grasslands.
You will enjoy a picnic lunch within the caldera near one of the crater’s hippo pools, surrounded by the remarkable scenery. After lunch, you continue your game drive towards Lake Magadi, where flamingos often gather along the shallow alkaline waters, adding colour to the landscape.
In the afternoon, you begin the ascent from the crater floor and return to the highlands of Karatu. You arrive at Marera Valley Lodge to relax, enjoy a freshly prepared dinner, and settle into a peaceful evening after a memorable day in Ngorongoro.

Day 4

Your final safari morning begins with breakfast before heading into Lake Manyara National Park, a scenic destination beneath the Great Rift Valley escarpment. You'll explore the lush groundwater forest, where baboon troops move through the trees and elephants, giraffes, and other wildlife can often be seen along the forest edges.
You continue towards the shores of Lake Manyara, where the changing landscapes offer opportunities to spot a variety of waterbirds, including pelicans, storks, and flamingos. Keep an eye on the trees for the park’s famous tree-climbing lions, a memorable sight when you are fortunate enough to encounter them.
After your game drive, you'll enjoy a picnic lunch before beginning the drive back to Arusha. We will drop you at your preferred location, whether your Arusha hotel or the airport for your onward journey.
