After an early breakfast, set off from Karatu toward the famous Ndutu region, located within the Ngorongoro Conservation Area bordering the southern Serengeti. As you arrive, dive right into an immersive game drive across vast short-grass plains and around Lake Ndutu and Lake Masek. Ndutu is world-famous for allowed off-road driving, giving you unprecedented close-up views of big cats—including cheetahs, lions, and elusive leopards—actively hunting across open terrain. During migration months, millions of wildebeest and zebra fill these plains, creating non-stop wildlife action and incredible photography opportunities. Stop for a lunch break surrounded by open views before continuing your afternoon game tracking across varied habitats of acacia woodlands and alkaline lakes. As sunset approaches, head to your intimate tented camp inside Ndutu for dinner and a night under the stars.
