Serengeti National Park – Ngorongoro Crater – Karatu

After an early breakfast, enjoy a final morning game drive as you leave the Serengeti and travel toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Descend into the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the best places in Africa to see the Big Five in a single game drive.

Spend the afternoon exploring the crater floor, home to lions, elephants, buffaloes, hippos, zebras, wildebeests, hyenas, and, with a little luck, the endangered black rhino. Enjoy a picnic lunch before ascending the crater and continuing to Karatu.
