Nairobi to Amboseli National Park

Morning departure from Nairobi, driving south toward the Amboseli ecosystem with a stop en route to break up the journey. Arrival at your lodge in time for lunch, followed by an afternoon game drive into the park as the light softens and animals move toward the swamps to drink. Dinner and overnight at Sentrim Amboseli.

Rise early for a full day of game viewing, heading out while the park is at its most active — and often when Mount Kilimanjaro is at its clearest, before the cloud cover builds. Enjoy a picnic lunch out in the park, surrounded by open plains with the mountain as a backdrop, before continuing with an afternoon game drive tracking Amboseli's large elephant families as they roam freely across the grassland, alongside buffalo, hippo, giraffe, zebra, and the park's rich birdlife. Arrive back in Nairobi and be dropped off at your hotel, or JKIA, carrying with you three days of elephants, open plains, and Kilimanjaro at sunrise that will stay long after the safari ends.
