After breakfast, depart the Maasai Mara and travel toward the Kenya–Tanzania border. After completing immigration formalities, continue into Tanzania and journey to the legendary Serengeti National Park.

Enjoy a game drive as you travel through the endless plains of the Serengeti, home to abundant wildlife throughout the year. Keep an eye out for lions, leopards, elephants, cheetahs, hyenas, giraffes, zebras, and large herds of wildebeests before arriving at your camp.

Central Serengeti – Ngorongoro Crater – Karatu

After an early breakfast, enjoy a final morning game drive as you leave the Serengeti and travel toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Descend into the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Africa's finest wildlife destinations.

Spend the afternoon exploring the crater floor, home to one of the highest concentrations of wildlife in Africa. Search for lions, elephants, buffaloes, hippos, hyenas, zebras, wildebeests, and, with luck, the endangered black rhino. After a picnic lunch, ascend the crater and continue to Karatu.
