Day 2
Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Your safari journey begins as you travel south from Arusha towards Tarangire National Park, a spectacular wilderness renowned for its ancient baobab trees, golden savannahs, and impressive elephant herds. As you explore the riverine landscapes and open plains, keep watch for lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and colourful birdlife gathered around the Tarangire River.
A delicious picnic lunch will be enjoyed at a scenic spot within the park, giving you time to relax and take in the sights and sounds of the surrounding wilderness. After lunch, continue your afternoon game drive through Tarangire’s valleys and diverse habitats, where every turn offers the possibility of another memorable wildlife encounter.
As the afternoon comes to a close, leave the park behind and continue towards the fertile highlands of Karatu. Arrive at Eileen’s Trees Inn for a warm dinner and a comfortable, peaceful overnight stay.

Day 3

Begin the day with an early descent into the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater, a vast volcanic caldera renowned for its extraordinary concentration of wildlife. As you explore the crater floor, look out for the rare black rhino, powerful lion prides, wallowing hippos, elephants, and large herds of wildebeest and zebra moving across the open grasslands.
A delicious picnic lunch will be enjoyed within the crater, with the hippo pool providing a memorable backdrop for your midday break. After lunch, continue your exploration before ascending the crater walls and journeying onwards towards the legendary Serengeti National Park.
As the landscape opens into the Serengeti’s endless golden plains, the scenery becomes increasingly dramatic. With the afternoon light casting long shadows across the savannah, continue towards your camp. By evening, arrive at Tukaone Weavers Camp for a hearty dinner and an authentic night surrounded by the sounds of the Serengeti wilderness.

Day 4
Serengeti National Park to Karatu

Awaken to the sounds of the African bush and set out for an early morning game drive across the legendary Central Serengeti plains. The cool morning hours offer a wonderful opportunity to observe wildlife as the day comes alive. Keep watch for stealthy leopards, swift cheetahs, powerful lions, and vast herds of wildebeest and zebra moving across the golden landscape.
After a delicious picnic lunch in the wilderness, begin your journey back towards the green highlands of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The drive offers one final opportunity to enjoy the changing scenery of the Serengeti before leaving its endless plains behind.
As the afternoon progresses, continue towards Karatu and arrive at Eileen’s Trees Inn. Settle into your comfortable surroundings, enjoy a sumptuous dinner, and relax after a rewarding day of wildlife exploration before your final safari adventure tomorrow.

Day 5
Lake Manyara National Park to Arusha
Lake Manyara National Park to Arusha
On your final safari morning, head to Lake Manyara National Park, a scenic gem nestled beneath the Great Rift Valley escarpment. Explore its lush groundwater forests, home to lively troops of baboons and blue monkeys, before continuing towards the lakeshore where colourful birdlife and seasonal flamingo gatherings create a beautiful backdrop.
During your morning game drive, keep watch for elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, and, with some luck, the park’s famous tree-climbing lions resting among the branches. A satisfying farewell picnic lunch will be enjoyed within the park before you begin your comfortable journey back towards Arusha.
After your final game drive, you will be dropped off at your preferred location, whether in Arusha, at Arusha Airport, or at Kilimanjaro International Airport.
