Your safari begins with a morning departure from Nairobi, traveling south toward Amboseli National Park. The journey takes you across vast open plains and past scattered Maasai homesteads as you approach the foot of Africa’s iconic Mount Kilimanjaro. Arrive in time for lunch and enjoy some time to relax at the camp. In the evening, head out for a game drive in this famous elephant sanctuary, where you will spot herds moving through the swamps and enjoy breathtaking views of Kilimanjaro’s silhouette glowing at sunset. You will spend the day exploring the breathtaking wilderness of Amboseli National Park. Begin with an early morning game drive when predators and grazing animals are most active. Visit Observation Hill for panoramic views of the park’s scenic wetlands, home to hippos and diverse birdlife. Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park, followed by an optional cultural visit to a Maasai village (entrance is free). In the afternoon, continue with a game drive, where you may witness zebras crossing marshes and elephants bathing in the golden evening light before returning to your lodge or camp for a relaxing evening.

Depart from Nairobi, Kenya’s capital city, and travel south through the scenic Great Rift Valley towards the Masai Mara National Reserve. Enjoy a stop at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint, where you will learn about the impressive escarpment wall and capture breathtaking photos of the surrounding landscapes. Continue to Narok Town for a second stopover, allowing time for shopping and refueling before proceeding to the Masai Mara. Arrive at your campsite or lodge, check in, and enjoy lunch. After an early breakfast, set out for a full-day game drive in the Masai Mara National Reserve, exploring the vast wilderness in search of Africa’s Big Five and the diverse wildlife that calls this iconic reserve home. The Mara is famous for its breathtaking landscapes and spectacular orange-tinged sunsets, offering incredible photography opportunities. Throughout the day, you will have the chance to spot a variety of wildlife, including Maasai giraffes, baboons, warthogs, bat-eared foxes, jackals, spotted hyenas, topis, impalas, hartebeests, wildebeests, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, and hippos. Lions are commonly seen resting after a successful hunt or scanning the plains for their next opportunity, while cheetahs and leopards may also be spotted with some luck. Return to the lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.
