Nairobi – Amboseli National Park (Fly-in)

After breakfast, transfer to Wilson Airport for your scheduled flight to Amboseli National Park. Upon arrival at the airstrip, you will be met by your safari guide and enjoy a game drive en route to Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge.

Arrive in time for lunch and spend the afternoon at leisure before heading out for an exciting evening game drive. As the temperatures cool, wildlife becomes more active, offering excellent opportunities to spot elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, lions, and an array of birdlife. If weather permits, enjoy your first stunning views of the snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro.

Full-Day in Amboseli National Park

Enjoy an early morning game drive when wildlife is at its most active and the skies are often at their clearest for spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro. Return to the lodge for breakfast and relax before lunch.

In the afternoon, embark on another game drive exploring different areas of the park, including the marshes fed by underground springs from Kilimanjaro, where elephants, hippos, and numerous bird species gather throughout the year. Return to the lodge as the sun sets over the Amboseli plains.

Full-Day in Amboseli National Park

Spend another day exploring the diverse landscapes of Amboseli with morning and afternoon game drives. Visit Observation Hill for panoramic views over the park and its wetlands, providing excellent photographic opportunities.

With a bit of luck, you may encounter lions, cheetahs, hyenas, and large elephant families against the magnificent backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro. Between activities, relax at the lodge or enjoy its facilities while soaking in the tranquil surroundings.
