It’s time to start your safari! After breakfast, your personal guide will pick you up from your accommodation or the airport for the 45-minute drive to Arusha National Park. Famous for its stunning variety of landscapes, Mount Meru, large giraffe populations, and rare black-and-white colobus monkeys, the park also features the wildlife-rich Ngurdoto Crater and pink-hued Momella Lakes, often visited by flamingos. For an extra adventure, enjoy a walking safari with a trained park ranger before returning to your accommodation to relax and recharge for the rest of your safari.

Day 2
Tarangire National Park
Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, your personal guide will pick you up from your accommodation, marking the start of your safari adventure. Enjoy a scenic 2–3 hour drive through the Tanzanian countryside, passing small Maasai villages along the way, before arriving at Tarangire National Park. Famous for its magnificent baobab trees and large elephant herds, Tarangire offers a wonderful introduction to Tanzania’s wildlife. Explore its grassy plains and the Tarangire River while looking out for zebras, giraffes, lions, elephants, cheetahs, and, with some luck, the often well hidden leopard. After you time in Tarangire you will have a 90 minute drive to your accommodation in Karatu for a restful night.

Day 3
The Ngorongoro Crater & Back to Arusha
The Ngorongoro Crater & Back to Arusha
After breakfast, hop back into your safari vehicle for the final day of your adventure. Enjoy a scenic 3-hour drive through Tanzania’s beautiful landscapes before descending into the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater. Known for its incredible concentration of wildlife, the crater offers chances to spot lions, buffalo, hippos, zebras, elephants, and, with some luck, the rare black rhino, possibly completing your Big Five. After your game drive, begin the approximately 4-hour journey back to Arusha, marking the end of your safari.
