Tarangire National Park

Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, drive south into Tarangire National Park, famed for its ancient, swollen baobab trees and the largest concentration of elephants outside the Serengeti ecosystem herds of over 300 are not uncommon along the Tarangire River. Stop for a picnic lunch overlooking the river as you watch elephant families pass by, then continue game viewing for lion, leopard, and dazzling flocks of birdlife among the acacia.

Overnight in the peaceful Marera Valley, with sweeping views toward Lake Manyara.

Enjoy a picnic lunch beside a hippo pool on the crater floor before continuing your game drive.

This region is also the ancestral home of the Maasai people, semi-nomadic pastoralists renowned for their vivid red shuka cloth, intricate beadwork, and centuries-old cattle-herding traditions that continue to thrive alongside the wildlife here. Overnight at the charming Farm of Dream.
