Rhino tracking and the journey into Uganda's northern wilderness
Your safari begins with a morning pick-up from your hotel in Kampala or Entebbe, or from Entebbe International Airport, followed by a scenic drive northwards towards Ziwa Rhino & Wildlife Ranch.
Upon arrival at Ziwa, enjoy a guided rhino tracking experience on foot. Accompanied by a trained sanctuary guide, walk through the natural habitat in search of southern white rhinos while learning about their behaviour, conservation and Uganda's rhino reintroduction programme.
After the rhino experience, enjoy lunch at Ziwa Rhino & Wildlife Ranch before continuing your journey towards Murchison Falls National Park.
As you travel north, Uganda's landscapes gradually transform into woodland and open savannah. Arrive at your lodge, check in, enjoy dinner and relax after the day's journey.

Day 2

A day among the giants of the savannah
Rise early for breakfast before heading into Murchison Falls National Park for a morning game drive.
Explore the northern savannah plains, one of the park's prime wildlife-viewing regions. Keep your eyes open for elephants, buffaloes, Rothschild's giraffes, Uganda kob, hartebeest, waterbuck and other wildlife.
With some luck, you may encounter lions and leopards moving through the grasslands or resting after a night of hunting.
Return to the lodge for lunch and a short rest before embarking on an unforgettable boat safari along the Victoria Nile in the afternoon.
Cruise towards the base of Murchison Falls, watching hippos and crocodiles along the riverbanks while elephants, buffaloes and other animals gather near the water. The boat journey offers spectacular views of the Nile as it approaches the narrow gorge of Murchison Falls.
Return to the lodge in the evening for dinner and relaxation.

Witness the power of the Nile
After breakfast, visit the Top of Murchison Falls, where the mighty Nile is forced through a narrow rocky gorge before plunging into the valley below.
Feel the spray, hear the roar and experience the incredible force of one of Uganda's most iconic natural wonders.
Continue with another wildlife drive through the park, providing another opportunity to search for species you may have missed on the previous game drive. The changing light and animal activity can make every game drive a completely different experience.
Return to the lodge for your final evening in the Murchison Falls wilderness.

After breakfast, check out and begin your journey back towards Kampala or Entebbe.
