Your safari begins with a flight from Zanzibar to Mikumi National Park, followed by a warm welcome from your safari guide. After settling in and enjoying lunch, head out for your first afternoon game drive across the park’s open savannah and woodland. Explore the beautiful Mkata River floodplain, one of Mikumi’s most rewarding wildlife areas, and keep your eyes open for elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffalo, impalas and wildebeest. With luck, you may also spot lions resting in the grass or watching their surroundings. Final Morning Game Drive and Return to Zanzibar

Wake early for your final game drive in Mikumi, taking advantage of the cool morning air and active wildlife. Explore the savannah and woodland while searching for elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, buffalo and antelopes. The soft morning light creates beautiful conditions for photography, with the landscape revealing its golden grasslands, scattered trees and distant mountains. After the game drive, return for breakfast and prepare for your transfer to the airstrip.
