Day 1

Zanzibar to Southern Serengeti

Zanzibar to Southern Serengeti

Your adventure begins with a scenic flight into the heart of the Southern Serengeti, departing at 8:00AM and arriving around 11:00 AM. The moment you land, the safari begins. Step into the wilderness and set out on your first game drive, surrounded by the sights and sounds of the Calving Season.

Keep your camera ready as you follow the herds across the plains, where tiny newborn wildebeest calves take their first wobbly steps and protective mothers stay close. And where there are calves, predators are never far away—watch for lions, cheetahs, hyenas, and other wildlife moving through the grasslands.

In the afternoon, pause for a bush picnic lunch surrounded by the open Serengeti before continuing your game drive into the evening. As the sun dips towards the horizon and the plains turn golden, make your way to Ndutu Pure Migration Camp for dinner and a peaceful overnight stay beneath the African sky.
