After an early breakfast, depart Arusha and travel towards the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater. Descend into the crater for a full-day game drive through one of Africa’s most extraordinary wildlife areas. Explore the crater floor, where lions, elephants, buffalo, zebras, wildebeest, hippos and flamingos can often be found against the dramatic backdrop of the crater walls.
Enjoy a bush picnic lunch inside the crater, surrounded by the incredible scenery and wildlife. In the late afternoon, ascend from the crater and continue towards the Serengeti, entering the park as the afternoon light begins to soften. Arrive at your camp in the evening for dinner and your first night beneath the Serengeti skies.

Wake early for a morning game drive across the Serengeti, when the cooler temperatures bring plenty of wildlife activity. Follow the tracks of predators and explore the plains in search of lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants and large herds of wildebeest and zebra.
Stop at a scenic spot for a bush picnic lunch, allowing you to enjoy the wilderness without leaving the park.
After lunch, continue with an afternoon game drive, exploring new areas and following the wildlife as it moves across the plains. Finish with a complimentary romantic sunset sundowner experience before returning to camp for a special evening.

Begin the day with an early morning game drive in the Serengeti, making the most of your final opportunity to explore the plains. Continue your safari through the park, with more wildlife viewing along the way.
After lunch, begin your journey towards the Ngorongoro Highlands, with an optional visit to Olduvai Gorge, one of the world’s most important archaeological sites and a fascinating insight into early human history or a visit to the Masaai village to learn how they co-exist with the wild.
