Day 1

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Your safari begins in the morning with pick-up from Arusha. After meeting your professional safari guide and fellow travelers, you will drive to Tarangire National Park.

Tarangire is renowned for its enormous baobab trees and large elephant herds. During your game drive, you may encounter giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffaloes, impalas, warthogs, baboons and predators such as lions and leopards.

You will enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park before continuing your afternoon game drive.

Later, you will leave the park and proceed to your campsite for dinner and overnight.

Day 2

Ngorongoro Crater

After an early breakfast, you will drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend approximately 600 metres into the famous Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive.

The crater is home to an extraordinary concentration of wildlife. You can expect to see animals such as lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeest, hippos and hyenas. Ngorongoro is also one of the best places in Tanzania to have a chance of spotting the endangered black rhino.

You will enjoy a picnic lunch at a designated picnic area before continuing your game drive.

In the afternoon, you will ascend from the crater and proceed to your campsite for dinner and overnight.

Visit Lake Manyara National Park then transfer to Arusha

Visit Lake Manyara National Park then transfer to Arusha

After breakfast, you will depart for Lake Manyara National Park, located beneath the dramatic Great Rift Valley escarpment.

The park offers diverse landscapes ranging from groundwater forests and acacia woodlands to open grasslands and the lakeshore. During your game drive, you may see elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, hippos, baboons, monkeys and various antelope species. The park is also famous for its rich birdlife and tree-climbing lions, although sightings are not guaranteed.

After enjoying a picnic lunch and game drive, you will leave the park and drive back to Arusha, arriving later in the afternoon or evening.
