Our adventure begins with an early departure from Nairobi as you head south toward Amboseli, with spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro emerging across the plains. After arriving, enter Amboseli National Park for your first game drive. Watch for enormous elephant herds, lions, zebras, giraffes and buffalo against the dramatic backdrop of Africa’s highest mountain. Overnight in a budget camp or lodge.

After breakfast, leave Amboseli behind and travel through Kenya’s scenic countryside toward the Great Rift Valley and Lake Naivasha. Upon arrival, enjoy a fascinating boat ride across the freshwater lake, where you can observe hippos, fish eagles and numerous waterbirds. Continue to Crescent Island for a guided walking safari among wildlife such as zebras, giraffes and antelopes. It is an exciting opportunity to experience Kenya’s wildlife on foot.

Before or after proceeding to Nakuru, you may choose to include an optional visit to Hell’s Gate National Park, famous for its towering cliffs, gorges and opportunities for cycling or walking among wildlife. Later, continue to Lake Nakuru for an afternoon game drive, searching for rhinos, lions, buffaloes, giraffes and other wildlife.
