Depart Nairobi in the morning and drive south towards Amboseli National Park, arriving in time for lunch and check-in at your lodge.

After lunch, head out for your first game drive through Amboseli. The park is renowned for its large elephant herds, spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro, and open savannah landscapes. Keep an eye out for lions, cheetahs, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and other plains game.

Continue exploring into the late afternoon before returning to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Start the day with an early morning game drive when wildlife is most active and the skies often provide the clearest views of Mount Kilimanjaro.

Explore Amboseli’s varied landscapes, including its open plains, seasonal wetlands, and areas around the park’s swamps, where large elephant herds frequently gather. The park is especially famous for its close elephant encounters and the impressive sight of elephants moving across the plains with Kilimanjaro in the background.

Return to the lodge for lunch and some time to relax before another afternoon game drive. As temperatures cool towards evening, continue your wildlife exploration before returning for dinner and overnight.

Amboseli – Lake Naivasha

After breakfast, check out and depart Amboseli for Lake Naivasha, travelling through the scenic landscapes of the Great Rift Valley.

Arrive at Lake Naivasha in time for lunch and check-in at your accommodation. Spend the afternoon relaxing by the lake or choose from a range of optional activities.
