Day 1

07:00 hrs Meet up with our hospitality Representative and your dedicated safari driver guide at your Nairobi hotel lobby/airport. After introductions and a pre-safari briefing, depart and drive to Amboseli National Park to arrive in the early afternoon for check-in and lunch at your camp.

Free time at leisure to relax and soak-in magnificent views of the park from your room Veranda/Lounge or enjoy a swim in the camps’s swimming pool.

Later embark on an afternoon game-viewing drives in the park. Amboseli is one of the most popular destinations for safari-goers to Kenya, but it also offers some spectacular views of the highest free-standing mountain in the world - Mount Kilimanjaro.

Elephant are a dominant presence in Amboseli; they are tracked almost constantly by researchers thus; the reason they have largely escaped the ravages of 1980s poaching. Here, you are able to spot some of the older “tuskers” lumbering almost delicately before the backdrop of Mt. Kilimanjaro.

Day 2

Amboseli to Tsavo West National Park

Breakfast in the camp, check-out and drive to Tsavo West National Park. Upon entry into the park, enjoy a game viewing drive en-route to the camp to arrive in the early afternoon for check-in followed by lunch.

Enjoy afternoon game viewing drives in the park. Tsavo West National Park offers some of the most magnificent game viewing in the world with large herds of dusty-red elephants, hippopotamus, giant crocodiles, black rhinoceros and African buffalo. The park includes also the lion, the cheetah, the leopard. The "big five" can be seen in Tsavo. Bird life is abundant as more than 600 species of bird have been recorded.

Day 3

Tsavo West National Park

Tsavo West National Park

Full day in Tsavo with morning and afternoon game viewing drives. The Park offers some of the most magnificent game viewing in the world with large herds of dusty-red elephants, hippopotamus, giant crocodiles, black rhinoceros and African buffalo. The park includes also the lion, the cheetah, and leopard.

The "big five" can be seen in Tsavo. Other animals commonly seen in the park are the zebra, the antelopes and gazelles, the mongoose, the hyrax, the dik-dik and the lesser kudu. Birdlife is abundant as more than 600 species of bird have been recorded.

Some of the interesting areas to be visited are the Mzima springs, Roaring rocks, Chaimu and Shetani Lava sites to mention a few.

Day 4

Tsavo West National Park to Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary

Check-out after a sumptuous breakfast in the camp and drive to Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary to arrive at your base lodge, Taita Hills Lodge in time for check-in lunch.

Later transfer to your overnight destination, Taita Saltlick Lodge. Few safari lodges in Africa are as iconic as Salt Lick Safari Lodge. Built on elevated stilts overlooking a series of natural waterholes, the lodge offers one of Kenya's most unique wildlife experiences. From the comfort of your room or one of the lodge's viewing decks, you can watch elephants, buffaloes, antelopes, and many other animals gather to drink throughout the day and night.

The wildlife sanctuary straddles the Southern Tsavo West National Park and is an important dispersal area and migrating corridor for wildlife between Tsavo East National Park and Tsavo West National Park making it a highly valued tourism recreational area and of ecological importance.

Day 5

Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary to Nairobi or Mombasa

Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary to Nairobi or Mombasa

Breakfast in the lodge and transfer back to the base lodge to reunite with your dedicated safari guide. The guide will drop you at Voi rail terminus for your train journey to Nairobi departing at 12:00 hrs. Lunch will be served on board the train.

14:30 hrs Our hospitality team will be at hand to meet you on arrival at the Nairobi train terminus for your onward transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your home travel.

NB: This tour can also terminate in Mombasa if interested in a Beach Holiday extension in Kenya's Coastal towns of Mombasa or Diani.
