Day 1

Drive Nairobi to Amboseli

Drive Nairobi to Amboseli

07:00 hrs Meet up with our hospitality Representative and your driver guide at your Nairobi hotel lobby/airport. After introductions and a pre-safari briefing, depart and drive to Amboseli National Park to arrive in the early afternoon for check-in.

Lunch in the camp followed by an afternoon at leisure to relax and soak-in magnificent views of the park from your room Veranda/Lounge or enjoy a swim in the camp’s swimming pool.

Later embark on an afternoon game-viewing drive in the park. Amboseli is one of the most popular destinations for safari-goers to Kenya, but it also offers some spectacular views of the highest free-standing mountain in the world - Mount Kilimanjaro.

Elephant are a dominant presence in Amboseli; they are tracked almost constantly by researchers thus; the reason they have largely escaped the ravages of 1980s poaching. Here, you are able to spot some of the older “tuskers” lumbering almost delicately before the backdrop of Mt. Kilimanjaro.

Day 2

Amboseli to Tsavo West National Park

Amboseli to Tsavo West National Park

Early morning game drive in the park before returning to the camp for breakfast, check-out and onward drive to Tsavo West National Park. Upon entry into the park, enjoy a game viewing drive en-route to the lodge to arrive in the early afternoon for check-in followed by lunch.

Lunch in the lodge followed by free time at leisure.

Later depart for an afternoon game viewing drive in the park. Tsavo West National Park offers some of the most magnificent game viewing in the world with large herds of dusty-red elephants, hippopotamus, giant crocodiles, black rhinoceros and African buffalo. The park includes also the lion, the cheetah, the leopard. The "big five" can be seen in Tsavo. Birdlife is abundant as more than 600 species of bird have been recorded.

Day 3

Tsavo West to Tsavo East National Park

Tsavo West to Tsavo East National Park

Breakfast in the lodge and check-out to commence you drive to Tsavo East National Park. One of the oldest parks in Kenya, located Southeast of Kenya near the Town of Voi. Lunch in the lodge followed by free time to relax and enjoy a swim in the lodge’s swimming pool.

Enjoy an afternoon game viewing drive in the park. The sight of dust-red elephant wallowing, rolling and spraying each other with the blue waters of palm-shaded Galana River is one of the most evocative images in Africa. This, along with the 300 Kilo-meter long Yatta Plateau, the longest lava flow in the world, make for an adventure unlike any other in the Tsavo East.

The park forms the largest protected area in Kenya and is home to most of the larger mammals, vast herds of dust –red elephant, Rhino, buffalo, lion, leopard, pods of hippo, crocodile, waterbucks, lesser Kudu, gerenuk and the prolific bird life features 500 recorded species.

Day 4

Tsavo East National Park

Tsavo East National Park

A whole day Tsavo East National Park with morning and afternoon game drives.

Known for its vast open plains, dramatic red earth and famous “red elephants”, coloured by the park’s iron-rich soil. Highlights include the Galana River, Lugard Falls, Mudanda Rock and the immense Yatta Plateau. Its open landscapes make wildlife easier to spot, with elephants, lions, buffalo, giraffes and many other species found across this wonderfully wild park.

Look out for populations of lions (including legendary mane less variants), leopards, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, hippos, and crocodiles among other wildlife in the park.

Day 5

Tsavo East National Park to Nairobi or Mombasa

Tsavo East National Park to Nairobi or Mombasa

Early morning game drive in the park before returning to the lodge for breakfast and later check-out. Your driver guide will drop you at the Voi Train terminus for your journey to Nairobi departing at 12:00 hrs to arrive Nairobi at 14:30 hrs.

Our hospitality team will be at hand to meet you ion arrival and transfer you to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your travel home.

Note:

This tour can terminate in Mombasa if interested in a Beach Holiday extension to Kenya's Coastal towns of Mombasa or Diani.
