Meet and greet with our professional English-speaking driver guide at a Nairobi hotel or airport in the morning. Set out for a 3–4-hour journey to Ol Pejeta Conservancy, with a brief stop along the way at the Nanyuki Equator Crossing for photographs.

Ol Pejeta Conservancy is one of Kenya’s leading wildlife conservation areas, located in the Laikipia region against the scenic backdrop of Mount Kenya. The conservancy is renowned for its pioneering efforts in protecting endangered species, particularly the critically endangered black rhino and northern white rhino. It is also home to the Sweetwaters Chimpanzee Sanctuary, which provides a safe haven for rescued chimpanzees.

At around lunchtime, you will check in at the hotel and head for lunch. In the afternoon, head out for a guided game drive and get to explore the conservancy. You will have an opportunity to see lions, rhinos, cheetahs, and more. After the evening game drive, head back to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Enjoy a morning game drive enroute after breakfast getting to experience more of Ol Pejeta before embarking on a 3-4hrs journey to Samburu National Reserve. Check in at the hotel just in time for lunch before heading out for yet another exciting game drive in the afternoon.

As the golden afternoon light fades across the rugged landscapes, wildlife becomes increasingly active, creating excellent opportunities for viewing animals in their natural habitat.

Samburu is renowned for its distinctive wildlife, including the famous Samburu Special Five: the Grevy’s zebra, reticulated giraffe, gerenuk, Somali ostrich, and Beisa oryx. During the drive, you may also encounter elephants, lions, leopards, cheetahs, buffaloes, and numerous antelope species. Begin your day early in the Maasai Mara, enjoying breakfast before departing for Lake Naivasha. The journey takes you away from the vast savannah and into Kenya’s dramatic Great Rift Valley landscapes. Depending on your starting point in the Mara and road conditions, the drive to Naivasha takes roughly 4–5 hours.

Explore the open savannah plains, seasonal wetlands and acacia woodlands while searching for large elephant herds, lions, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, gazelles and numerous bird species.
