Meet and greet with our professional English-speaking driver guide at a Nairobi hotel or airport in the morning. Set out for a 3–4-hour journey to Ol Pejeta Conservancy, with a brief stop along the way at the Nanyuki Equator Crossing for photographs.
Ol Pejeta Conservancy is one of Kenya’s leading wildlife conservation areas, located in the Laikipia region against the scenic backdrop of Mount Kenya. The conservancy is renowned for its pioneering efforts in protecting endangered species, particularly the critically endangered black rhino and northern white rhino. It is also home to the Sweetwaters Chimpanzee Sanctuary, which provides a safe haven for rescued chimpanzees.
At around lunchtime, you will check in at the hotel and head for lunch. In the afternoon, head out for a guided game drive and get to explore the conservancy. You will have an opportunity to see lions, rhinos, cheetahs, and more. After the evening game drive, head back to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Continue with a scenic 5–6-hour journey towards the Masai Mara, travelling through Kenya’s picturesque countryside and rural landscapes. For those seeking an extraordinary experience, you may opt to wake up before dawn and take part in a hot-air balloon safari over the Mara. As the first rays of sunlight illuminate the savannah, gently float above the vast plains and enjoy spectacular panoramic views of the landscape below. From the balloon, you may witness wildlife such as wildebeest, zebras, elephants and other animals moving across the plains—a truly unique way to experience the Mara.
After the balloon safari and breakfast, rejoin your safari guide and begin your full-day game drive through the Maasai Mara.
If you opt not to take the balloon Safari, embark on a full day game drive after breakfast. Explore the expansive grasslands, riverine areas and wildlife-rich plains while searching for some of Africa's most iconic animals. Begin your day early in the Maasai Mara, enjoying breakfast before departing for Lake Naivasha. The journey takes you away from the vast savannah and into Kenya’s dramatic Great Rift Valley landscapes. Depending on your starting point in the Mara and road conditions, the drive to Naivasha takes roughly 4–5 hours.
Arrive in Lake Naivasha around midday and check into your lodge or camp. After lunch, take some time to relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings of this freshwater Rift Valley lake. Naivasha is well known for its hippos, African fish eagles and abundant waterbird life.
In the late afternoon, head to the lakeshore for your boat excursion and nature walk with wild animals. As the sun begins to soften, board a guided boat and cruise across the calm waters of Lake Naivasha. This is an excellent opportunity to see hippos resting in the shallows, African fish eagles, pelicans, cormorants and other waterbirds along the shoreline.

Amboseli National Park, famously known as the “Home of the African Elephant,” is renowned for its large elephant herds, spectacular scenery and the iconic backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro. The early hours are one of the best times for wildlife viewing, as animals are more active in the cool morning temperatures. Explore the open savannah plains, seasonal wetlands and acacia woodlands while searching for large elephant herds, lions, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, gazelles and numerous bird species.
One of the highlights of the morning is the opportunity to see Mount Kilimanjaro rising dramatically above the Amboseli plains, weather permitting. The soft morning light also creates excellent conditions for photography, particularly when elephants are seen against the mountain backdrop.
