1-Day Materuni & Chemka –Waterfalls Coffee & Warm Waters

Your day begins in Arusha as you drive towards Materuni Village a peaceful community nestled on the slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro. On arrival meet your local guide and begin a walk through the green countryside, passing coffee and banana farms while learning about daily life in the village.
The trail leads to Materuni Waterfall, where the sound of falling water and the surrounding forest create a peaceful escape. Take time to enjoy the scenery, capture photographs and simply appreciate the atmosphere before returning to the village.
Back in Materuni, discover how locally grown coffee is traditionally prepared. Take part in the process, from roasting and grinding the beans to enjoying a freshly brewed cup.
After lunch, continue to Chemka Hot Springs, where crystal-clear, warm water surrounded by trees offers the perfect place to slow down and relax. Swim float and enjoy the peaceful setting before beginning your journey back to Arusha in the late afternoon.
