Day 1

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, you will depart for Tarangire National Park. The first stop is in Arusha for any last-minute purchases. From here, we head off to Tarangire National Park and Ngorongoro Crater.

Tarangire National Park is known for its enormous elephant population and baobab trees. The park is part of the annual migration of as many as 3 000 elephants, 25 000 wildebeests, and 30 000 zebras.

Day 2

Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, we will leave for Serengeti National Park, making our way through the stunning farmland of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Then, leaving the highlands behind, we descend into the heart of untamed Africa, the Serengeti National Park.

The Serengeti National Park, with its infinite plains, is rolling as far as the eye can see. Next, we proceed to Seronera, one of the richest natural habitats within the park. Here, the Seronera River provides a treasured water supply to the park. We will arrive in time for lunch and enjoy the rest of the day exploring Serengeti National Park.

Day 3

Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro

There’s no such thing as too many days in the Serengeti, and today you’ll have another opportunity to enjoy its incredible wildlife and landscapes. You will begin with a game drive in Serengeti National Park, exploring the plains and searching for lions, elephants, cheetahs, wildebeest, zebras, and other wildlife.

In the afternoon, you will leave the Serengeti and enjoy a scenic drive towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. After arriving, you will have dinner and settle in for your overnight stay, perfectly positioned and ready for an early morning exploration of the Ngorongoro Crater the following day.

Day 4

Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha

Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha

After an early breakfast at the lodge, you will drive to Ngorongoro Crater. The crater is more than 600m deep. Ngorongoro Conservation Area hosts many animals, including herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, and large African elephants. Another huge draw card to this picturesque country-wide park is its dense population of predators encompassing lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and the ever-elusive leopard, which requires a skilled eye to spot. Furthermore, we can go to Lake Magadi, a massive shallow alkaline lake at the southwestern corner, which is one of the crater’s major attractions. Many flamingos, hippos, and different water birds are seen here.
