Flight from Zanzibar to Mikumi & Full-Day Game Drive

Your safari begins with a morning pick-up from your hotel in Zanzibar and transfer to Zanzibar Airport for your flight to Mikumi National Park.

Upon arrival at Mikumi airstrip, your professional safari guide will meet you and give you a short briefing before starting your safari.

You will spend the day enjoying a full-day game drive in Mikumi National Park, exploring its open savannahs and wildlife-rich areas.

Keep your eyes open for elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, hippos, antelopes, lions, and a variety of bird species.
A picnic lunch will be served during the game drive so you can make the most of your time in the park.
In the late afternoon, proceed to Camp Bastian for dinner and overnight.

Mikumi to Nyerere & Game Drive

After an early breakfast, check out and begin your journey from Mikumi to Nyerere National Park.

The drive takes you through the beautiful landscapes of Southern Tanzania before reaching Nyerere National Park.

Upon arrival, begin your game drive in Nyerere National Park. Explore the park's diverse landscapes while searching for elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, hippos, antelopes, and predators such as lions.
A picnic lunch will be enjoyed during the safari.

Continue exploring the park into the afternoon before proceeding to Africa Safari Selous for dinner and overnight.

Sunrise Boat Safari, Village Visit & Flight to Zanzibar

Start your final day with an early sunrise boat safari on the Rufiji River.

Enjoy the peaceful morning scenery while looking out for hippos, crocodiles, and different species of birds along the river.
After the boat safari, return to the lodge for breakfast and some time to refresh.

Later, enjoy a local village visit, giving you the opportunity to experience the community and learn more about the local way of life.

In the afternoon, transfer to the airstrip for your flight back to Zanzibar.

Upon arrival in Zanzibar, our driver will be waiting to meet you and transfer you comfortably back to your hotel.
