Your safari begins with an early morning pick-up from your hotel or preferred location in Nairobi. Drive south through the scenic Kenyan countryside towards Amboseli National Park, famous for its large elephant herds and spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro, weather permitting. Arrive at the park in time for lunch and check in at your lodge or camp. After a short rest, enjoy an afternoon game drive exploring the Amboseli ecosystem. After breakfast, check out from your accommodation in Amboseli and begin your journey north towards Samburu National Reserve. Enjoy the changing scenery as you travel through Kenya’s countryside, passing through rural landscapes and towns along the way. This is a longer transfer day, with a lunch stop en route. Continue towards northern Kenya and arrive in the Samburu region in the afternoon or early evening. Check in at your lodge or camp and take some time to relax after the journey.
