Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our safari representative from Abunda and assist with your arrival formalities. You will then be transferred to your Accommodation Via Via Guest House in Entebbe for check-in and relaxation. Depending on your arrival time, you may enjoy a leisurely visit to the lakeside town, explore the Botanical Gardens or simply rest after your journey. Entebbe offers a peaceful introduction to Uganda and provides the perfect start to your safari adventure.

Day 2

Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park through the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary

Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park through the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary

After breakfast, depart early from Kampala or Entebbe and begin the journey northwards toward Murchison Falls. The drive follows the Kampala–Gulu highway, passing through towns and countryside including Luweero and Nakasongola. The journey provides an opportunity to see everyday Ugandan life, roadside markets, farms, grazing cattle and changing landscapes. After reaching ziwa Rhino Sanctuary you will start your experience which normally takes around 1–2 hours, although the duration can vary depending on where the rhinos are located. Visitors are accompanied by trained ranger guides who lead the walk and explain rhino behavior, conservation and the sanctuary's ecosystem then after you proceed to Murchison Falls National Park for overnight.

After breakfast, depart from Murchison Falls National Park for Kibale National Park, one of Uganda’s most important destinations for chimpanzee tracking and rainforest experiences.
This is a long but scenic travel day, taking you from the savannah landscapes of northern Uganda into the lush forests and rolling hills of western Uganda.
The journey commonly follows the route through Masindi, Hoima, Kyenjojo and Fort Portal, before continuing toward Kibale Check in at your accommodation for overnight the road journey can take approximately 7–9 hours, including stops for lunch and photos.

Chimpanzee Trekking & Community Tour

After an early breakfast at your lodge, you will head to the Kanyanchu Visitor Centre for registration and a briefing from Uganda Wildlife Authority guides. The briefing covers the trekking procedures, forest safety, and responsible ways of observing chimpanzees
Once the trek begins, you will walk through the beautiful tropical forest accompanied by experienced guides and rangers. The duration varies depending on where the chimpanzee community is located and the conditions of the forest. During the search, your guide will explain the different trees, plants, bird species, animal tracks and other signs of wildlife encountered along the trail.
After you will go back at the accommodation for lunch as you prepare for afternoon community tour where you experience banana and coffee making.

After breakfast, depart for Queen Elizabeth National Park, one of Uganda’s most diverse wildlife destinations. The journey takes approximately 3–4 hours from Kibale National Park, depending on the route and road conditions. Enjoy scenic views of rolling countryside, tea plantations, villages, forests, and the spectacular foothills of the Rwenzori Mountains. Upon arrival, proceed to your lodge for check-in and lunch. Depending on your arrival time, you may relax at the lodge or enjoy an optional activity for an evening game drive and after drive back at the accommodation for an overnight.

After breakfast, Start the day with an early morning game drive through the Kasenyi Plains, when wildlife is most active. Explore the savannah while looking out for elephants, buffaloes, Uganda kobs, warthogs, antelopes and, with luck, lions and leopards.
After the game drive, return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation before heading to the Kazinga Channel for a boat cruise in the afternoon. The cruise offers beautiful views of the channel and surrounding landscapes.

After a briefing by park rangers, trek through the dense rainforest in search of a habituated mountain gorilla family. After trekking, return for lunch and later enjoy a Batwa cultural experience. Drive through the beautiful highlands of southwestern Uganda, passing through Kisoro, Kabale, and Mbarara before continuing toward Lake Mburo. Enjoy views of terraced hills, countryside communities, and changing landscapes along the way. A lunch stop over around Mbarara, with time to refresh before continuing.
