Famous for its large elephant herds and magnificent ancient baobab trees, Tarangire offers a unique safari experience with diverse landscapes of open savannah, seasonal wetlands, acacia woodlands, and the Tarangire River. As you explore the park, keep watch for lions, leopards, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffaloes, impalas, warthogs, and other wildlife gathering around water sources. The park is also home to an impressive variety of bird species, making it a paradise for birdwatchers and photographers. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the wilderness before continuing your game drive, with plenty of opportunities to capture spectacular wildlife and landscapes. In the late afternoon, depart the park and continue to your accommodation for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, depart through the spectacular Ngorongoro Highlands toward Serengeti National Park, enjoying breathtaking scenery, rolling hills, farmlands, and traditional villages along the way. As you approach the Serengeti, the landscape gradually opens into vast golden plains stretching toward the horizon. After entering the park, begin an exciting afternoon game drive in search of lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffaloes, and other abundant wildlife. Depending on the season and location, you may also witness large herds moving across the plains as part of the Great Migration. Continue exploring until sunset, enjoying the incredible scenery and wildlife encounters before heading to your accommodation for dinner and overnight.

Day 3

Begin your day with an early morning game drive across the Serengeti plains, when wildlife is most active and the cool morning hours offer excellent opportunities to observe predators such as lions, cheetahs, and leopards on the move. Watch as herds of wildebeest, zebras, gazelles, and other herbivores begin their day, creating lively scenes across the savannah. After the game drive, return for breakfast and continue exploring the park before enjoying lunch. In the afternoon, depart Serengeti and travel toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, passing through changing landscapes and scenic highland views. Arrive at Simba Campsite in the evening, where you will enjoy dinner and settle in for a peaceful overnight surrounded by the beauty of the Ngorongoro Highlands.

After breakfast, descend approximately 600 metres into the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater for a full-day game drive within this UNESCO World Heritage Site. The crater’s enclosed ecosystem provides exceptional year-round wildlife viewing, with vast grasslands, woodlands, lakes, and permanent water sources supporting an extraordinary concentration of animals. Search for the Big Five—elephants, lions, rhinos, buffaloes, and leopards—along with hippos, cheetahs, hyenas, zebras, wildebeest, gazelles, and colourful flamingos around the crater lakes. Enjoy a picnic lunch surrounded by breathtaking scenery before continuing your exploration of this natural wildlife sanctuary. As the day comes to an end, ascend from the crater and continue to your accommodation for dinner and overnight.

Day 5
Lake Manyara National Park

After breakfast, depart for Lake Manyara National Park, a compact yet remarkably diverse wildlife destination nestled between the Great Rift Valley and the shores of Lake Manyara. Begin your game drive through the park’s lush groundwater forests, where you may encounter troops of baboons, blue monkeys, and playful vervet monkeys. Continue toward the open plains and lakeshore in search of elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffaloes, hippos, and the park’s famous tree-climbing lions. The lake attracts large numbers of flamingos and other waterbirds, creating excellent opportunities for birdwatching and photography. Enjoy the changing scenery, from dense forest and acacia woodland to open grasslands and shimmering lake waters, before continuing to your next destination.

Materuni Waterfall

After breakfast, journey to Materuni Village on the lush lower slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro for an authentic cultural and nature experience. Meet your local guide and begin a scenic walk through coffee plantations, banana farms, and tropical vegetation as you make your way to the impressive Materuni Waterfall. Enjoy the refreshing surroundings and beautiful landscapes before continuing with a traditional Chagga coffee experience. Learn about local coffee cultivation, processing, roasting, and preparation, then taste freshly prepared Tanzanian coffee. Enjoy a delicious traditional Chagga lunch prepared with fresh, locally sourced ingredients, offering an authentic taste of local cuisine and hospitality. After lunch, relax and appreciate the peaceful village surroundings before returning to Arusha. You will be dropped off in Arusha city. End of Tour.
