Enjoy lunch en route as you make your way towards Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. As the landscape becomes greener and more mountainous, you will approach the forest surrounding your lodge. Check in upon arrival, enjoy dinner and settle in for the night as you prepare for tomorrow’s unforgettable gorilla trekking experience.

Day 2
Gorilla Trekking & Batwa Cultural Experience
Gorilla Trekking & Batwa Cultural Experience
After an early breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a briefing before entering Bwindi’s ancient rainforest. Follow experienced trackers through the dense vegetation as you search for a habituated gorilla family. The trek can take several hours depending on the location of the gorillas. Once you find them, spend a precious hour observing their behaviour, family interactions and movements in their natural environment. After trekking, return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation. Later, experience the heritage of the Batwa people through stories, traditions and insights into their historic connection with the forest. Dinner and overnight at your lodge.

Day 3
Bwindi to Lake Bunyonyi & Relaxation
Bwindi to Lake Bunyonyi & Relaxation
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast before leaving Bwindi and travelling towards the beautiful Lake Bunyonyi. The journey takes you through the terraced hills and winding roads characteristic of southwestern Uganda. Arrive at the lake and check into your accommodation overlooking its calm waters and numerous small islands. After lunch, spend the afternoon at your own pace. You can relax at the lodge, enjoy the views, take photographs or simply appreciate the peaceful surroundings. For those seeking a more active experience, an optional canoe ride can be arranged. As evening falls, enjoy dinner beside the lake and overnight at your Bunyonyi lodge.
Day 4
Lake Bunyonyi to Queen Elizabeth National Park

After breakfast, depart Lake Bunyonyi and continue towards Queen Elizabeth National Park. The journey takes you through southwestern Uganda’s countryside, offering changing views of farms, hills and local communities. Depending on the route and time available, you may have opportunities for wildlife viewing as you approach the park. Arrive at your lodge, check in and enjoy lunch before taking some time to relax. Later, you can enjoy the atmosphere around the lodge or choose an optional evening game drive to begin exploring the park. Dinner and overnight at your selected Queen Elizabeth National Park accommodation.

Day 5
Game Drive, Kazinga Channel & Transfer to Lake Mburo

Wake early for a game drive across Queen Elizabeth’s wildlife-rich plains. Search for elephants, buffaloes, Uganda kobs, antelopes, warthogs and predators such as lions and leopards. Return for breakfast before continuing your journey towards Lake Mburo National Park. Enjoy lunch along the way before arriving at the park. Later, depending on arrival time, embark on an evening game drive when the landscape begins to cool and wildlife becomes more active. Watch for zebras, impalas, buffaloes, elands and other species. Continue to your lodge for dinner and overnight, surrounded by Lake Mburo’s peaceful wilderness.

Begin your final morning with a guided nature walk in Lake Mburo National Park, an opportunity to experience Uganda’s wilderness from a different perspective. Walking quietly through the park allows you to appreciate smaller details often missed during a vehicle safari, including tracks, plants, birds and close encounters with wildlife. Return to the lodge for breakfast before checking out and beginning your journey towards Entebbe. Stop for lunch along the way and continue through Uganda’s countryside. Depending on your schedule, you may make a final stop for souvenirs before arriving at Entebbe International Airport for your departure.
