Dar es Salaam – Nyerere National Park - Flight & Afternoon game drive

Your adventure begins with a morning flight from Dar es Salaam to Nyerere National Park. Upon arrival at the airstrip, you will be welcomed by your safari guide and begin your first game drive as you make your way into the wilderness.

Explore the park in search of elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, lions, hippos, wild dogs and other wildlife. Enjoy the spectacular scenery of the park before arriving at your lodge for lunch and relaxation.

In the afternoon, continue with an exciting game drive, followed by a beautiful African sunset experience before returning to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Boat Ride & Game Drive

After breakfast, embark on a memorable boat safari along the Rufiji River, one of the highlights of Nyerere National Park. Cruise through peaceful waterways surrounded by beautiful scenery while observing hippos, crocodiles, elephants, waterbirds and other wildlife along the riverbanks.

After the boat safari, enjoy lunch and some time to relax.

In the afternoon, head out for an exciting game drive deeper into the park. With your experienced private guide, explore wildlife-rich areas in search of lions, elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, zebras and the rare African wild dog.

Return to your lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight.

Nyerere National Park – Dar es Salaam | Final Game Drive & Flight

Rise early for a final game drive through Nyerere National Park, taking advantage of the cool morning hours when wildlife is most active. Enjoy one last opportunity to encounter the park’s iconic wildlife and capture beautiful photographs of the African wilderness.

After breakfast, transfer to the airstrip for your scheduled flight back to Dar es Salaam.

Upon arrival, your safari adventure comes to an end, leaving you with unforgettable memories of Nyerere’s wildlife, the magnificent Rufiji River and the wild beauty of southern Tanzania.
