Day 1

After an early breakfast from your hotel or picked from Arusha Airport depart from Arusha and drive to Tarangire National Park, enjoy the scenic journey through the Tanzanian countryside before entering the park, renowned for its magnificent baobab trees, diverse landscapes, and abundant wildlife.

Begin your game drive through the park’s open savannahs, woodlands, and seasonal wetlands. During the dry season, Tarangire becomes an important refuge for wildlife, with animals gathering around the Tarangire River and remaining water sources.

Keep watch for wildebeest, zebras, buffaloes, impalas, gazelles, hartebeests, elands, giraffes, and other wildlife. With some luck, you may also encounter predators such as lions and cheetahs.

Enjoy a picnic lunch in the park, surrounded by the sights and sounds of the African wilderness. Continue with an afternoon game drive, taking in the beautiful scenery and enjoying further opportunities for wildlife viewing and photography.

Day 2

Tarangire to Serengeti national park

After breakfast, depart from Tarangire National Park and begin your scenic journey towards the world-famous Serengeti National Park. Travel through the beautiful landscapes of northern Tanzania.

As you approach the Serengeti, the scenery gradually changes into vast open grasslands, offering your first glimpse of the spectacular ecosystem for which the park is famous. Upon entering the park, begin game viewing en route as you drive towards your accommodation. Keep an eye out for wildebeest, zebras, giraffes, elephants, gazelles, and other wildlife roaming across the plains.

Continue to your camp, where you will check in and have time to relax after the journey. Enjoy dinner and unwind as you take in the peaceful atmosphere of the Serengeti wilderness.

Day 3

Serengeti national park full day game drive

After an early breakfast, set out for a full-day game drive across the Serengeti’s endless plains. Explore the park’s diverse landscapes in search of the Big Five and other wildlife, including lions, elephants, leopards, cheetahs, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, and wildebeest.

Enjoy a picnic lunch in the wilderness before continuing your afternoon game drive. Depending on the season, you may witness large herds of wildebeest and zebras moving across the plains as part of the Great Migration.

As the day comes to an end, return to your camp for dinner and overnight, carrying unforgettable memories of your Serengeti adventure.

Wake up early and depart for a morning game drive through the Serengeti National Park, taking advantage of the cool hours when wildlife is most active. Search for wildebeest, lions, elephants, leopards, cheetahs, impalas, gazelles, and other wildlife. Depending on the season, you may also witness the spectacular Great Migration.

Continue your journey directly towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, enjoying an exciting en-route game drive as you travel through the changing landscapes and wildlife-rich plains. Stop for a picnic lunch along the way before continuing towards the Ngorongoro highlands.

Arrive at Ngorongoro Wild Camp later in the afternoon or evening. Settle into your accommodation, enjoy dinner, and relax in the peaceful surroundings of the Ngorongoro highlands.

Day 5

Ngorongoro to Arusha

After an early breakfast, descend directly into the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater for approximately six hours of game viewing. Explore the crater floor, one of Tanzania’s most remarkable wildlife areas, and search for the Big Five—lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and the elusive black rhino.

Continue exploring the crater, with opportunities to see giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, warthogs, baboons, gazelles, and a variety of bird species.

After an unforgettable six-hour crater experience, ascend the crater rim and begin your journey towards Arusha. Enjoy an en-route game drive through the countryside, passing through Mto wa Mbu village, where you can observe local life and the beautiful landscapes of northern Tanzania.

Arrive in Arusha in the evening, where you will be dropped off at your hotel marking the end of your memorable Tanzanian safari.
