After breakfast, depart the Serengeti towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, enjoying beautiful views of the highlands along the way. Descend into the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive across its fertile floor. This natural amphitheatre supports an extraordinary concentration of wildlife, including lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeest, hippos and abundant birdlife. Explore the crater's grasslands, woodland and wetlands before ascending the steep crater walls.
