Day 2
Tarangire National Park
Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, your personal safari guide will pick you up from your accommodation in Arusha and drive you toward Tarangire National Park, passing through scenic Maasai plains dotted with acacia trees. Along the way, you may see Maasai people in colourful traditional clothing, walking, cycling, herding cattle, or travelling by donkey cart.
Tarangire is famous for its large elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, diverse landscapes, and abundant wildlife. Enjoy an exciting game drive across open savannah, seasonal swamps, and along the Tarangire River, where you may encounter zebras, wildebeest, buffalo, giraffes, elephants, lions, and possibly leopards resting in the trees.
After a full day of wildlife exploration, continue to your mid-range partner lodge for dinner and a comfortable overnight stay, surrounded by the peaceful atmosphere of the African wilderness.

After an early breakfast, depart for the legendary Serengeti National Park, one of Africa’s most iconic wildlife destinations. Although the journey is long, the spectacular scenery along the way makes it an unforgettable part of the adventure. As you enter the Serengeti, you will quickly understand why its name means “endless plains".
Covering approximately 14,750 square miles (38,000 sq km) across the wider ecosystem, the Serengeti offers vast grasslands stretching endlessly toward the horizon. It is home to the spectacular Great Migration, when millions of wildebeest, hundreds of thousands of zebras, and numerous antelope move across the plains in search of fresh grazing and water.
The Serengeti is also a paradise for big-cat enthusiasts, with excellent opportunities to encounter lions, cheetahs, leopards, and hyenas. Enjoy an exciting game drive through this remarkable wilderness before settling into your accommodation for the evening.

Today begins with an early morning game drive, offering a magical opportunity to witness the African sunrise as the Serengeti awakens. After a cup of coffee, venture into the wilderness and watch wildlife emerge among the dew-covered grasses, creating an unforgettable start to the day.
Later, enjoy a delicious breakfast in the park, followed by a picnic lunch surrounded by the beauty of the Serengeti. In the afternoon, set out for another game drive across the endless plains, searching for lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and other fascinating wildlife. As you gradually make your way toward the park exit, enjoy one final opportunity to experience the remarkable landscapes and wildlife of the Serengeti.

Rise and shine for an early departure toward the lush highlands of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Africa’s most remarkable natural wonders.
Upon reaching the crater rim, descend approximately 600 metres into the vast caldera for an unforgettable game drive. Explore its grasslands, forests, wetlands, and lake while searching for an incredible variety of wildlife, including elephants, lions, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeest, hippos, and spotted hyenas. The crater is also home to more than 500 bird species, making it a paradise for nature and wildlife enthusiasts.
After an extensive game drive, enjoy a scenic picnic lunch inside the crater before ascending and continuing to Mto wa Mbu. Arrive at your hotel for dinner, relaxation, and an overnight stay.

After breakfast, depart for Lake Manyara National Park, your final safari destination. Though relatively small, the park is remarkably diverse, featuring a seasonal soda lake surrounded by lush forests, open grasslands, and dramatic baobab- dotted escarpments.
The lake attracts thousands of flamingos and more than 500 bird species, while the park is home to monkeys, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffaloes, and elephants. With some luck, you may also spot lions resting in the branches of the park’s famous tree-climbing lions.
Enjoy a memorable game drive followed by lunch before departing for Arusha in the afternoon. Upon arrival, you will transfer to the airport for your flight to Zanzibar, where your tropical beach adventure begins.

After breakfast at around 7:30 AM, your guide will pick you up and accompany you on a traditional dhow boat ride to Prison Island, also known as Changuu Island. Learn about the fascinating history behind the island’s name and discover its famous giant tortoise sanctuary, home to more than 50 tortoises, some of which are over 100 years old.
After exploring the island, enjoy time swimming and snorkelling in the crystal-clear waters surrounding the coast, with colourful tropical fish beneath the surface.
Later, continue with a fascinating three-hour Spice Tour. Discover Zanzibar’s rich spice heritage as you learn about tropical fruits, aromatic spices, herbs, and unique plants. You may encounter cinnamon, cardamom, cloves, nutmeg, vanilla, ginger, pepper, tamarind, and many other local spices. After the tour, return to your accommodation for dinner and a relaxing overnight stay.
