Known for its impressive elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, and beautiful landscapes, Tarangire offers an incredible wildlife experience. Enjoy a thrilling game drive in a comfortable pop-up-roof 4x4 vehicle, keeping an eye out for elephants, giraffes, zebras, lions, antelopes, and a variety of colorful bird species. Along the Tarangire River and seasonal swamps, you’ll have excellent opportunities to observe wildlife in its natural habitat.

After an early breakfast at the lodge, depart and drive for about 2 hours to the Ngorongoro Crater. This spectacular destination is home to a wide variety of East African wildlife, with the chance to spot the rare black rhino. The crater is approximately 20 kilometers wide, so you’ll have around 6 hours to explore its diverse landscapes and wildlife. Enjoy lunch at a scenic picnic site overlooking Hippo Lake, followed by an afternoon game drive before returning to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Lake Manyara National Park to Zanzibar
Lake Manyara National Park to Zanzibar
After breakfast, you’ll drive about 40 minutes to Lake Manyara National Park, famous for its diverse wildlife and beautiful landscapes. Here, you may spot giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffaloes, elephants, baboons, and a variety of bird species. Keep an eye out for the famous tree-climbing lions relaxing in the branches. The park features open grasslands, lush forests, and dramatic cliffs dotted with giant baobab trees. After your game drive, you’ll transfer to Arusha Airport for your flight back to Zanzibar, marking the end of your unforgettable safari adventure.
