Dar es Salaam Train to Morogoro & Mikumi Wildlife Safari

Your safari begins with a pickup from your preferred location in Dar es Salaam. Our driver will transfer you to the SGR train station in time for your scheduled train to Morogoro. Enjoy the comfortable SGR journey while taking in views of the Tanzanian countryside along the way. Upon arrival at Morogoro SGR Station, our safari driver will meet you and begin the road transfer to Mikumi National Park. On arrival at the park, start your exciting full-day game drive through Mikumi's wildlife-rich landscapes. Search for elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, wildebeest, impalas and other wildlife with the assistance of your experienced safari guide. Around lunchtime, stop at a designated picnic site inside the park and enjoy your packed lunch in the middle of the wilderness. After lunch, continue your game drive through the afternoon, exploring more of Mikumi before exiting the park. Later, drive to Camp Bastian Mikumi for dinner and your overnight stay.

Morning Game Drive & Train back to Dar es Salaam

Start your morning with breakfast at Camp Bastian Mikumi before heading into the park for your final game drive. Enjoy a morning wildlife experience as you explore Mikumi National Park with your professional guide. Look for elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, antelopes and other wildlife while enjoying the beautiful morning scenery. Continue the game drive until around midday, making the most of your final hours inside the park. After the game drive, return for lunch before preparing to leave the park. Around 12:00 PM, exit Mikumi National Park and begin the drive to Morogoro SGR Station. Arrive at the station in time for your scheduled SGR train back to Dar es Salaam. Upon arrival in Dar es Salaam, our driver will meet you and transfer you to your preferred location. Your safari ends with a combination of wildlife adventure, scenic train travel and memorable experiences in Mikumi National Park.
