Arrival – Tarangire National Park

Upon arrival in Tanzania, you will be met by your professional safari guide and begin your journey to Tarangire National Park.

After completing the necessary arrangements, drive to Tarangire and begin your first game drive. The park is famous for its large elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffaloes and abundant birdlife.

Enjoy a picnic lunch in the park followed by an afternoon game drive before departing for your overnight accommodation.

Ngorongoro Crater – Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, depart for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend into the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive.

The crater is home to a remarkable concentration of wildlife, including lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeest and, with luck, the endangered black rhino.

Enjoy a picnic lunch on the crater floor before ascending and continuing towards the Serengeti National Park.

Enter the Serengeti in the afternoon and enjoy your first game drive as you make your way towards your camp or lodge.

Wake up early for an exciting morning game drive in the Serengeti.

The Serengeti is famous for its vast plains, exceptional resident wildlife and the annual Great Wildebeest Migration. Another full day is dedicated to exploring the Serengeti.

After breakfast, head out with your safari guide for another extensive game drive. Having additional time in the Serengeti allows you to explore different areas and spend more time observing wildlife and photographing the spectacular landscapes.

Depending on the season and wildlife movements, your guide will plan the day around the areas offering the best opportunities for wildlife viewing. Afternoon you will have a game en route crossing the Ngorongoro highlands toward Karatu Town for relaxing with dinner and an overnight stay.
