5-Day Lake Nakuru & Masai Mara Tour and Wildlife Safari

Nairobi to Lake Nakuru National Park

Your safari will kick off with a pick-up at JKIA Airport or your hotel in Nairobi. You will then meet your expert driver-guide before heading to Lake Nakuru National Park.

On the way, you will stop at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint, where you can enjoy panoramic views of the escarpment.

You will then continue your journey and arrive at Lake Nakuru in time for lunch. Upon arrival, check in at the Egret Savannah Camp, freshen up and enjoy a hot lunch.

At around 4:00 pm, after some time to relax, you will set out for an afternoon game drive. The game drive starts at the park gate, where the camp is located.

Lake Nakuru National Park is famous for hosting thousands, sometimes millions, of flamingos, hundreds of black and white rhinos and the highly endangered Rothschild's giraffes. The park also offers stunning scenery and the chance to see the Makalia Waterfall.

After the game drive, you will return to the camp for a hot dinner and an overnight stay.

Lake Nakuru to Masai Mara

After breakfast, you will head to Masai Mara, one of Africa's greatest wildlife reserves.

You will arrive at Masai Mara National Reserve in time for lunch. Check in at Enkorok Mara Camp and take some time to rest after enjoying a hot meal.

You will proceed for an afternoon game drive at around 4:00 pm. Masai Mara features Kenya's highest concentration of wildlife and is a highlight of every safari. You can easily spot the Big Five, along with many other animals.

If your safari takes place between July and October, you will have the chance to witness the annual wildebeest migration, considered the 7th Wonder of the World, especially as the animals cross the crocodile-infested Mara River.

After the game drive, we will return to the lodge to freshen up and enjoy dinner, followed by an overnight stay at the camp.
