Kigali - Kamembe (flight)- Nyungwe | Canopy walk & Gisakura tea experience

05h00: Your driver will collect you from your hotel or residence and transfer you to Kigali International Airport for your scheduled RwandAir flight to Kamembe, departing at 07h00. Upon arrival at 07h40, you will be welcomed by your professional driver-guide and transferred directly to the Nyungwe National Park headquarters.
Enjoy a light snack before attending the 10h30 briefing for the famous Nyungwe Canopy Walk, which begins at 11h00.
After the canopy walk, transfer to Nyungwe Top Hill View Hotel for lunch and check-in.
In the afternoon, visit the nearby Gisakura Tea Estate for an engaging Crop-to-Cup Experience. Learn how Rwanda's renowned tea is cultivated, harvested and processed before sampling some of the country's finest teas while overlooking the rolling green plantations.
Return to the hotel to relax before dinner and your overnight stay.

Nyungwe - Kigali | Chimpanzee Trek

05h00: Check out of the hotel with your luggage and packed breakfast before transferring to the Nyungwe National Park headquarters for your chimpanzee trekking briefing.

06h00: Accompanied by experienced park rangers, venture into the ancient rainforest in search of one of Nyungwe's habituated chimpanzee communities. Home to around 500 wild chimpanzees, Nyungwe offers one of Africa's finest primate encounters. Listen for their distinctive calls before watching them swing through the canopy, groom one another and forage in their natural habitat. The trek can last several hours depending on the location of the chimpanzees.

After the trek, enjoy refreshments at the park restaurant before beginning the scenic drive to Kigali. Stop for lunch en route and, if time permits, visit the Ethnographic Museum in Huye. Arrive in Kigali in the early evening for drop-off at your hotel, residence or Kigali International Airport.
