Day 1
Nairobi - Lake Naivasha
Nairobi - Lake Naivasha
In the morning, you will be picked up in Nairobi at your preferred location. Your journey begins with a scenic drive down into the Great Rift Valley, where sweeping views and dramatic escarpments set the tone for the days ahead.
Upon reaching Lake Naivasha, you’ll step aboard a boat for a tranquil safari across the shimmering freshwater lake. As you glide over the water, keep an eye out for pods of hippos, fish eagles swooping overhead, and the rich birdlife that thrives along the shores.
After the boat safari, you’ll land on Crescent Island for a guided walking safari. This private sanctuary is home to giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, antelopes and countless birds, all roaming freely in an open, predator-free environment. Walking among them offers an intimate perspective you can’t get from a vehicle. After this immersive experience, you’ll head to your lodge in Naivasha to relax, enjoy the gardens or take in the peaceful lakeside atmosphere as the sun sets.

Lake Naivasha - Ol Pejeta
Today is all about the journey from Lake Naivasha to the Ol Pejeta area. Rather than rushing from one destination to the next, you’ll travel at a relaxed road-trip pace, with the freedom to stop whenever something catches your eye. Your guide can suggest viewpoints, local cafés, small towns or scenic places along the way, but the day is intentionally kept flexible.
As you travel north, the landscapes gradually change from the Rift Valley towards the greener central highlands of Kenya. Because your accommodation is located outside the conservancy, there is no need to fit in a game drive today. Once you arrive, you can check in, relax and enjoy the surroundings at your own pace. It is a slower travel day designed to give you time to unwind and prepare for a full day of safari in Ol Pejeta the following morning.

Ol Pejeta Conservancy
Ol Pejeta Conservancy
Today is dedicated to exploring Ol Pejeta Conservancy and learning more about the important conservation work carried out here. The conservancy plays a major role in protecting endangered species, particularly black and white rhinos, and is also home to the last two northern white rhinos in the world.
During your game drive, your guide will explain more about the conservation projects, anti-poaching efforts and the balance between wildlife protection and local communities. Along the way, you’ll also search for elephants, lions, buffalo, cheetahs and many other species that live within the conservancy. Depending on your interests, additional activities can be added to the itinerary, such as a night game drive, lion tracking, a visit to the chimpanzee sanctuary or other conservation experiences. It is a full day combining excellent wildlife viewing with a deeper understanding of conservation in Kenya.
