Dar es Salaam to Nyerere & Sunset Boat Safari

Your private safari begins with a morning pickup from your hotel or the airport in Dar es Salaam. Travel by road to the Nyerere area, arriving at Selous Mapumziko Lodge for lunch and time to relax. In the late afternoon, enjoy a boat safari on the Rufiji River, looking for hippos, crocodiles and birds as the light softens over the water. Return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay. The complete package costs US$420 per person sharing. Optional accommodation upgrade for an extra cost: stay at Selous Safari Lodge for an additional US$30 per person, bringing the complete package to US$450 per person sharing, subject to availability.

Nyerere Game Drive & Return to Dar es Salaam

After an early breakfast, enter Nyerere National Park for a game drive in your private pop-up roof 4x4 with an English-speaking guide. Explore the changing landscapes while looking for elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, zebras and predators; wildlife sightings are never guaranteed. Enjoy a picnic lunch before leaving the park and travelling back to Dar es Salaam. Your safari ends with drop-off at your hotel or the airport in the evening. Please arrange onward flights with enough time for the road transfer.
