Day 1

06:30 AM – 07:00 AM: Pick up from your Nairobi hotel or airport by your driver-guide in a custom safari van with a pop-up roof.

07:00 AM – 10:30 AM: Drive south via the Nairobi-Namanga highway, passing scenic savannah plains and local Maasai homesteads (approx. 240 km).

10:30 AM – 12:30 PM: Arrive at Amboseli and enter through Kimana or Iremito Gate. Begin an introductory game drive tracking large elephant herds.

12:30 PM – 02:30 PM: Check-in and hot lunch at a lodge like AA Safari Lodge, followed by a short rest.

03:30 PM – 06:30 PM: Afternoon game drive across the swampy terrain. Look out for elephants, lions, buffaloes, and spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro if weather permits.
