Leave Nairobi and travel south towards Amboseli National Park, arriving with the dramatic landscape of Mount Kilimanjaro forming the backdrop. After lunch, head out on your first game drive across the park, looking for elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffalo and big cats. Amboseli is particularly known for its large elephant population and striking views of Kilimanjaro. Return to Ol Tukai Lodge in the evening for dinner and your first night in the park.

Day 2

Full-Day Amboseli Safari
Spend a full day exploring Amboseli with morning and afternoon game drives, giving you time to experience the park at a relaxed pace. Search for large elephant herds moving across the plains, as well as lions, cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, buffalo and abundant birdlife. The changing light and open landscapes also create excellent opportunities for photography, particularly with Mount Kilimanjaro providing a dramatic backdrop when conditions are clear. Return to Ol Tukai Lodge for your second night in Amboseli.

Day 3
Amboseli to Lake Nakuru
Amboseli to Lake Nakuru
After breakfast, leave Amboseli and travel north towards the Great Rift Valley and Lake Nakuru. After arriving in the Nakuru area and settling in, head into Lake Nakuru National Park for an afternoon game drive. The park offers opportunities to see rhinos, Rothschild’s giraffes, buffalo, lions and a wide variety of birdlife against the backdrop of the Rift Valley. Continue to Sarova Lion Hill Game Lodge for dinner and an evening overlooking the park.

Lake Nakuru to the Maasai Mara

Enjoy breakfast before leaving Lake Nakuru and continuing towards the Maasai Mara. The journey takes you through changing Rift Valley landscapes before reaching the Mara ecosystem. After lunch and settling into Karen Blixen Camp in Mara North Conservancy, head out for your first Mara game drive. Keep watch for elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, antelope and big cats as you begin exploring the ecosystem. Return to camp for your first evening beside the Mara River.

Spend a full day exploring the Maasai Mara ecosystem, with time for morning and afternoon game drives across the reserve and surrounding conservancy areas. With a full day in the Mara, there is time to stay longer at productive sightings rather than rushing from one location to another. Return to Karen Blixen Camp for your final evening in the Mara.

Maasai Mara to Nairobi
Enjoy your final breakfast at Karen Blixen Camp before leaving the Mara and beginning the journey back to Nairobi. Travel through the changing landscapes of the Mara and Great Rift Valley, with time to reflect on the wildlife and experiences from the safari. On arrival in Nairobi, your private transfer will take you to the airport or your next accommodation, marking the end of your Kenya safari with Vogue Adventures.
