Your safari will kick off with a pick-up at JKIA Airport or your hotel in Nairobi. Once you arrive, our office representative will greet you and introduce you to your expert driver-guide before heading to Amboseli National Park.
Arrive at Amboseli National Park in time for a hot lunch and check in at your Praro Amboseli Camp. Around 4:00 p.m., after some time to relax, head out for an afternoon game drive. After the game drive, you will return to the lodge to freshen up before dinner and your overnight stay.
The savannah grassland ecosystem of Amboseli National Park stretches across the Kenya-Tanzania border. The park is famous for being one of the best places in Africa to get close to over 1,600 free-ranging elephants and other wildlife species. Other park attractions include opportunities to meet the Maasai people and enjoy spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro. You will also have the chance to capture beautiful African sunsets and sunrises.

Day 2 program in Amboseli is very flexible. You’ll have two options to choose from:
Option one: You will go on an early morning game drive, then return for a hot breakfast before freshening up and spending the rest of the morning at your leisure, either swimming in the pool or simply relaxing. Later, enjoy lunch before heading out for an evening game drive. Finally, return to the camp for dinner and your overnight stay.
Option two: Enjoy an early breakfast before setting out for a full-day game drive with a packed lunch in hand. Return to the lodge or camp in the evening for dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 3
Amboseli National Park to Lake Naivasha
Amboseli National Park to Lake Naivasha
Enjoy breakfast before departing for Lake Naivasha. Along the way, stop at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint for panoramic views of the escarpment and some photo opportunities.
Arrive and check in at Lake Naivasha Simba Lodge, where you can relax and enjoy the surrounding scenery before having a hot lunch. After lunch, head to Lake Naivasha for a hippo boat ride and a visit to the Crescent Island Animal Sanctuary, the highlight of your stay in Naivasha.
Later, return to the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 4

Have breakfast and then drive to Lake Nakuru National Park, arriving in time for a hot lunch and check in at your Lake Nakuru Lodge.
After some time to relax, you will head out for an afternoon game drive at 4:00 pm. The park is renowned for hosting thousands, and sometimes millions, of flamingos, as well as hundreds of black and white rhinos and highly endangered Rothschild’s giraffes. It also offers beautiful scenery and the opportunity to visit the Makalia Waterfall.
After the game drive, return to your lodge to freshen up before enjoying a freshly prepared hot dinner and your overnight stay.

After breakfast, head to the Masai Mara, one of Africa’s greatest wildlife reserves. You will arrive in the Mara in time for lunch and check in at your Mara Simba Lodge. After a hot lunch, take some time to rest before heading out around 4:00 p.m. for an afternoon game drive. The Masai Mara is a highlight of any safari in Kenya and has a high concentration of wildlife, with all of the Big Five and many other animals easily spotted.
If your safari falls between July and October, you will have the opportunity to witness the Great Wildebeest Migration, especially as the herds cross the Mara River, where crocodiles await.
After the game drive, return to the lodge to freshen up and enjoy dinner before your overnight stay.

In the evening, head back to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Option 2: Opt for an early morning game drive in search of big cats and other wildlife before returning for breakfast. Freshen up and spend the rest of the morning at your leisure. Later, enjoy lunch before heading out around 4:00 p.m. for an evening game drive in search of the Big Five and other animals.
Option 3: Enjoy an optional hot air balloon ride ($450 USD per person) in the early morning, followed by mid-morning game drives before returning to the lodge for lunch. Later, head out for an afternoon game drive. After the game drive, return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
An optional Maasai village visit can be arranged with any of the three options at an additional cost of $30 USD per person.

Day 8

After breakfast, you will check out of the lodge and drive back to Nairobi. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your Nairobi hotel or the JKIA Airport for your onwards flight.
Depending on your flight back home, you may pay a visit to the David Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage, the Giraffe Centre, the famous Carnivore Restaurant for lunch or dinner (especially for meat lovers), or the Maasai Market.
