Arusha - Tarangire National Park To Karatu

After breakfast, depart from Arusha and drive to Tarangire National Park. Upon arrival, begin your first game drive through the park, renowned for its large elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, seasonal wetlands and diverse wildlife. Explore the park in search of elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffalo, lions and a variety of bird species.
Enjoy a picnic lunch during the safari before continuing with an afternoon game drive. Later, leave Tarangire and continue toward Karatu and the Ngorongoro Highlands.

Karatu To Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, depart Karatu and travel toward the legendary Serengeti National Park. The route takes you through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area before reaching the vast plains of the Serengeti. As you enter the park, begin your first game drive. Explore the plains in search of lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, buffalo, zebras and wildebeest.
Depending on the season, you may also encounter areas associated with the Great Wildebeest Migration. Continue with an afternoon game drive before arriving at your accommodation for dinner and overnight.

Enjoy a picnic lunch before ascending the crater walls.

After the crater experience, continue toward the airport for your flight to Dar es Salaam. Upon arrival in Dar es Salaam, you will be met and transferred to your accommodation. Enjoy dinner and overnight in preparation for your next day safari.

Accompanied by trained park guides, trek through the forest in search of habituated chimpanzee communities. The trek provides an opportunity to observe chimpanzees in their natural environment while also experiencing Gombe's rich forest ecosystem. Along the trail, you may encounter other primates, birds and forest wildlife.
