Arrival in Entebbe and transfer to Murchison Falls National Park
Meet your driver-guide at Entebbe International Airport or your hotel and begin your journey to
Murchison Falls National Park.
Travel through Uganda’s countryside, with a stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for rhino tracking if arranged
in advance. As part of your Uganda safari with Step One Africa Adventures, rhino tracking is an excellent stopover when travelling between Kampala or Entebbe and Murchison Falls National Park.
Your experience begins with a briefing from a ranger, who explains rhino behavior, conservation efforts, and safety guidelines. You will then head into the sanctuary, walking through open grassland and woodland as the ranger guides you towards the rhinos.
The tracking walk typically takes around one to two hours, although the duration depends on where the rhinos are located. Once you find them, enjoy the opportunity to observe them. Thereafter, you will proceed to the roadside cafe for lunch before continuing to Murchison Falls National Park.

After lunch, head to the Paraa jetty for an unforgettable boat cruise upstream along the Victoria Nile towards the base of the spectacular Murchison Falls. The cruise usually takes around two to three hours, depending on the operator and conditions.
