1-Day Nyerere National Park Trip from Dar Es Salaam

Your adventure begins with an early morning pickup from your hotel in Dar es Salaam, followed by a scenic drive south towards Nyerere National Park.

After entering the park, begin your full-day game drive through open plains, woodland and areas around the Rufiji River.

Keep your eyes open for large herds of elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, zebras and wildebeest, while lions, hippos, crocodiles and African wild dogs may also be encountered.

Enjoy a picnic lunch in the park before continuing with the afternoon game drive.

Later in the afternoon, leave the park and begin the drive back to Dar es Salaam, arriving in the evening.
