Begin with a morning briefing before heading into Nyungwe Forest for chimpanzee tracking. Observe these fascinating primates and other wildlife in their natural environment. After lunch and some relaxation, enjoy a canopy walk along the suspended trail, offering impressive views of the forest, birds, and surrounding vegetation.

Mountain Gorilla Trekking and Cultural Experience

After an early breakfast, head to the park headquarters at Kinigi for a briefing before beginning your gorilla trek. The trek can take depending on the gorillas’ location, with up to one hour permitted with the gorilla family. Return to your lodge to rest. If time and conditions allow, visit Iby’Iwacu Cultural Village to experience traditional music, dances, and local customs.
