Drive to Bale Mountains & Dinsho Wildlife Hike

Depart Addis Ababa early in the morning and drive south through the scenic landscapes of the Ethiopian Rift Valley, passing agricultural farmlands and local market towns. Arrive at the Bale Mountains National Park Headquarters in Dinsho by afternoon. Embark on a gentle introductory trek through the lush juniper forests and open meadows, where you will have fantastic opportunities to spot endemic mammals up close, including the majestic Mountain Nyala, Menelik's Bushbuck, and warthogs. Afterward, proceed to nearby Goba or Robe to check into your hotel for dinner and a restful overnight stay.

Afterward, embark on a scenic alpine trek down to the striking glacial waters of Lake Geber-Guracha before settling into your camp or lodge surrounded by dramatic highland scenery.

Harenna Forest Trek & Waterfall Exploration

Descend from the high moorlands into the magical, mist-shrouded expanse of the Harenna Forest, one of Ethiopia's largest remaining natural cloud forests. Embark on a guided trek beneath towering ancient trees, wild forest coffee plants, and hanging mosses, keeping an eye out for endemic Bale monkeys, black-and-white colobus monkeys, and vibrant forest bird species. Arrive in Addis Ababa by late afternoon, where you will have time for last-minute souvenir shopping or relaxing before being transferred to Bole International Airport for your evening international flight home.
