Arusha fly to Central Serengeti

After breakfast, transfer to Arusha Airport for your morning flight to Central Serengeti. Upon arrival, meet your professional safari guide, who will welcome you and begin your unforgettable Serengeti adventure.

Enjoy a full-day game drive across the magnificent Central Serengeti, renowned for its abundant wildlife and spectacular landscapes. Keep your eyes open for lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and, if lucky, the elusive leopard and cheetah.

After lunch, continue exploring the endless plains in search of more wildlife, following the tracks and movements of the animals until late afternoon.

As the day draws to a close, find a beautiful spot to relax and enjoy refreshing drinks while watching the spectacular African sunset paint the Serengeti sky with golden colours.

Later, proceed to your lodge or tented camp for dinner and an overnight stay, surrounded by the magical atmosphere of the African wilderness.

North Serengeti for the Great River Crossing

After breakfast, travel north towards Kogatende. This is a substantial drive through changing Serengeti landscapes, with wildlife viewing along the route and lunch arranged by your guide. Explore the northern area as time allows before continuing to Enkutoto Migration Camp. When the herds are nearby, your guide will look for their movements and activity around the Mara River. Dinner and your overnight stay are at camp; migration locations vary with the rains.

Spend the day exploring Northern Serengeti with your guide, carrying lunch so the safari can follow current sightings. Where the herds gather near the river, time and patience matter: animals may approach, retreat or continue grazing. Your guide will explain the behaviour and watch from permitted viewing areas, keeping the animals' route clear. Crossings are never assured. Return to Enkutoto Migration Camp for dinner and your overnight stay, with the day's smaller encounters part of the story too.
